Summers come and go
Winters catch me always a bit unaware-
Yesterday I was 18
Now I'm almost 34
Le estati arrivano e se ne vanno
Gli inverni mi colgono sempre un po' impreparata
Ieri avevo 18 anni
Oggi ne ho quasi 34
People gathering in a warm home
Cooking and drinking
Everything seems happy
Everything seems distant
Le persone si riuniscono in una casa accogliente
Cucinano e bevono
Tutto sembra felice
Tutto sembra distante
But I cannot help myself but to think of those
who are out there all alone
Somehow they lost their families
The street is the only face they know-
sometimes I wonder why people need
a day on the calendar to remember ourselves
that the most precious things
are the ones we own every single day
And we are not aware of them until we loose them?
Ma non posso fare a meno di pensare a coloro
che se ne stanno lì fuori da soli
Chissà come hanno perso le loro famiglie
La strada è il solo volto che conoscono-
a volte mi interrogo sul perchè
serve una data sul calendario per ricordare
che le cose più preziose
sono quelle che abbiamo ogni singolo giorno
e non ce ne rendiamo conto finchè non le perdiamo?

Another year is almost over
I had many good purposes
but how many of them I strained to turn them real?
I don't want to waste my time anymore-
Consciousness, Gratefulness, Love and tell
Struggle to make your dreams come true
Live your life plenty and passionate
Make good memories-
The only way we can hold time
And the time we are able to save
will be forever ours.
Un altro anno è quasi finito
Avevo dei propositi
ma quanti di questi mi sono sforzata di raggiungere?
Non voglio più perdere il mio tempo-
Consapevolezza, Riconoscenza, Amare e dirlo
Lottare per realizzare i propri sogni
Vivere pienamente e intensamente
Costruire ricordi felici-
L'unico modo che abbiamo per fermare il tempo
E il tempo che riusciamo a salvare
sarà nostro per sempre.
